I used to hate old-timers who didn't praise the younger wrestlers, but you've got to pass the torch sometime. If you're old, that torch gets too heavy for you and you can't carry it, so it won't do you any good.

He eventually has to carry the torch; it is just a matter of time. I am 72 years old. I hope to live another 20 years. But Steve has to carry the torch eventually. He is the kind of guy I want to pass the torch on to. I want somebody who is a good family man. He is a clean-cut guy.
