I want to keep it diverse, but not to the point of alienating our listeners. If it's a really good local release we'll play the shit of it because it's something we should be proud of it.

We're going to continue to hit the islands and make that a point of emphasis. We've got very good front guys out of the state of Hawaii, but this year a majority of our front guys come from in-state. It was an exceptional year in-state for front guys.

It was good that we were able to come back and get a point, but there's not much else to say. We got a point, and we have to just take that as a positive and go to the next game. I think we showed some character in the end.

When I first started at KJHK it was this exalted entity to me. It was like I had finally found something that was on the same level as I was.

You can't force DJs to play anything. That's just the wrong path.
