I want to play well in front of the fans. They've just seen this guy with the bald head on the end of the bench. They probably don't know if I can play or not.

Losing a guy like that ? it's tough. He's a potential most valuable player in the league if he's healthy. He's definitely our most valuable player.

To be tested in a game-situation like this in front of 1,500 fans and their great student body, we hadn't seen anything like that. Sure, we needed it. Our players understood when you're under the gun, you have to find an extra gear and dig down and concentrate a little bit harder and we did that in the second half.

A lot of times it seems like for some reason if we're not scoring on the power play we don't seem to have a lot of jump or things like that. If you want to be an elite team, you've got to beat the good teams and right now we're not doing that.
