I wanted to make people happy, if only for an hour.

We see our clientele as people from the Des Moines area who want a quick getaway, travelers passing through and also the occasional business traveler. We hope we can make them comfortable in our wonderful little town.

It's the No.1 issue with people I talk to, whether Republican, Democrat or independent. They want to see the way business is done in Washington change.

Given the record of this administration, 'trust us' is not a safe enough answer for the American people.
