I was a military spouse, and I lived on military pay. It is very difficult to do that. But we do that with honor and with gratitude for the chance to serve this country.

Whenever you get the chance to represent your country in a World Cup, it's a great honor. It's a chance to show the world what you've got. I'm looking forward to it. I do wish, though, that I would be able to stay here and play with D.C. a little bit more, because this is an important stretch for us right now.
