I was actually looking forward to one of [coach Ken Hitchcock's] practices, so you know that it's been a long time. You forget how difficult the practices are, but it was a great feeling to be back out there. I'm just really excited about the year.

That's kind of the line I've got to walk now. I think the difference is the post-concussion is light-headedness, where I get that disconnect. Anything else is working and getting your heart rate up. I'm still a little nervous. It's still a little scary.

Without putting any undo pressure on them, they not only are going to be part of our hockey club, they are going to be key components. They have skill and they have the ability to contribute now. They will be put in those situations where they are allowed to contribute. It is really exciting for the franchise.

Personally, it's exciting. Every hurdle is another step closer to a full recovery.

Actually, I'm looking forward to being 50. Because to me, that's when a woman is at the pinnacle of her femininity and her womanhood.

I am looking forward to the series, it should be a good one. We had a very good tour of Pakistan last time and I enjoyed the country and enjoyed going there. Hope the same this time.
