I was always a fan of Groucho Marx as a kid.

When I was a kid, I hated being talked to as a kid. I don't know if all kids feel that way, but I seem to remember awful things in the crib, something like people doing baby talk in the crib and sticking their big, fat faces in there and scaring me. So I always talk to kids as if they were a person.

I was a comedy fan when I was a little kid.

I like to exhilarate the audience like Groucho Marx exhilarated me when I was a kid. Also, I enjoy doing the more serious parts of the show, like playing him as an older man, because when I was a kid he was an older man.

The humbling part for me is going to be some kid or some fan that in years to come walks into Texas Stadium and sees my name and that will bring up an emotion or memory of something I achieved on the field, ... That's the humbling part of it, and to be alongside some of the great names in the history of this franchise. It means a lot.

It was a great experience for a kid, because it was a bunch of kids playing on pirate ships and water slides, so looking back on it, it was the fondest experience of my childhood.
