I was completely paralyzed. I couldn't open my eyes. I could hear people talking. I thought I was at my own funeral. I thought I was dead.

I thought I did as strong as I could, but in the judges' eyes, they didn't think so. It happens that way. I was disappointed, but I pushed it away and it was over with. But that wasn't easy.

I thought that was pretty special -- [Thursday], and what we saw. I don't mind talking about it, because I don't think that anybody that was here did not recognize that.

Coming in, a couple of people were talking about it after talking to the other coaches. All of our coaches are weights coaches, and they kind of relayed it to everybody and let us know what was going on.

I always doodled as a kid while I was talking on the phone or watching TV.
