I'm not positive that it is a uncontrollable cost and I am not positive it is coming from the landfill. If we do not challenge something they say is uncontrollable then what is to stop them from saying something else is uncontrollable next year?

We are not going to take on the county single handed.

I can only speak for SOCWA and we haven't even talked about it, we're in a wait and see approach.

We've looked at building our own water system and that just didn't make financial sense. We would pay a lot more under that system than we would to Detroit. But I don't think we've heard the end of this (rate hike).

Now we're just going to wait and see what happens.
