I was happy with our kids' effort. Okemos was able to shoot 36 free throws to our 11 attempts, I felt like we were in Ann Arbor. It's definitely not an excuse, but sometimes it's hard to overcome when the whistles are not going your way.

It was a great team effort. We had some different kids step up and I can't say enough about how good our team defense was all night.

I can't fault these kids' effort. They're playing their guts out and one of these nights they're going to get some (shots) to drop.

I appreciate the effort of our kids. Down 10-zip first quarter - that's where we've been in every game. But you know what, we really played hard.
