I was like, Am I gay? Am I straight? And I realized...I'm just slutty. Where's my parade?

I have so much hate that it has turned into love.

People sometimes tells me that they're baffled by bisexuality. They are convinced that having sex with women is totally different from having sex with men. But it isn't. No more than having sex with anyone is totally different from having sex with anyone else.

If public figures came out of the closet, then the LGBT kids who saw them on TV would feel safe before they even knew why they felt dangerous. Maybe if enough people came out of the closet, gay kids would never feel dangerous. Maybe we could have a world where we could all just live. We may not all agree, but why can't we just all live?

This is the seventh year that I've gone to the Gay Pride parade -- it's not just because I've become Paris mayor that I feel I have to take part.
