I was on a nostalgia trip for that one. I was in a really happy kind of space. That one just felt like it came from somewhere beyond me.

I don't ever want to fit my music into one genre, because every song needs to develop the way it wants to. It has to have its own feel and vibe. I'm noticing that songs can be way across the spectrum and still fit together and tell a story.

Acid was kind of a thing that was done on the day off. We took one trip, got in four or five cars and headed out to the lake, this Indian Burial Ground, we made some films, super 8, you can see us running around in the dark, stayed out all night, no sleeping bags, that didn't seem strange, just lay down on the ground to sleep, on acid.

It's an issue we've been working on. Every person has to protect their own space, but there's a lot of common sense in moving a security level up into the cloud.

Sometimes I would think myself happy never to leave. Every trip must end.
