I was out on the highway helping to get traffic moving.

The line of traffic advancing towards the rising sun looked like a procession of the returning dead. Every one of them, solitaries in clean shirts, smoking, checking mirrors to see if their reflections were still there, wore dark glasses.

It's not like there are wrecks or anything like that. It's just that the traffic is not moving.

Oh, it was tough. They probably felt unrewarded, to see everything being trucked down the highway.

I fervently believe that education is the key to moving forward.

For the first time in a while, it seems to be letting up, so we're digging out, and there's a lot of digging to do.
