I was pleased with the score. We all knew our routine wasn't as difficult as some of the other squads competing. It took a lot of courage for our cheerleaders to go out on the mat knowing that.

When we lost those cheerleaders we had to change our whole routine. That really took a lot of the difficulty out of our routine.

When you're a kid, if you watch 'The Jeffersons' with your family at seven o'clock, it seems like a natural phenomenon, like the sun setting. The universe is a strange, strange place when all of a sudden you can't use your glass with the Bionic Woman on it any more.

I am very proud of our kids. They never gave up.

You have to be able to compensate for the men. You have to compensate them with competition and scholarships to make sure they stay.

I think the competition turned out fine. We are going to look at as something positive.
