I was standing there and he pointed, 'Goal! Goal! Goal!' and then all of a sudden you hear a guy coming from the bleachers blowing it off. It was almost surreal.

It's nice that's it over with, I think it's kind of been a foregone conclusion for it seems like forever. We're not overly excited about it. It was just a matter of time. We've got bigger and better things we want to accomplish.

I think things are evening out the last couple of games. The first few games we had some tremendous scoring opportunities and we weren't scoring.

We seem to find a way to make it interesting for everybody. That's not the way it should've went. The first two periods we should've scored more ... but we hung in there.

We have to keep selling this team in Raleigh.

It's always good to have a little breather and have a break and kind of regroup before the last little bit, the last push before we start the playoffs and everything else. It's a rat race the last 20 games.
