I was sure we were good enough to win the game and I spoke to the players about how I felt it was there for the taking.

The one thing I said to them was I believed we could win the game.

I'm not sure what it is. I spoke to him after the game and he said he was fine, so let's hope that it's not a big deal, he is enormous for us.

It was good to win some silverware and give game time to some of the players who are likely to be on the bench at Twickenham. We possibly had one eye on the Daily Mail final, but it was good to have the match before going to Twickenham.

Coming into this game, we were the best disciplined side in the competition, or second best, and they were the worst, and all of a sudden that seems to turn around. I can guarantee you we didn't work on anything ... to try to unsettle them or to be ill-disciplined -- it was not part of our game plan and I'm quite annoyed with the penalty count.

It was a boring game, but we did a lot of little things well. It was a good win and sets up a huge week coming up. Next week will go a long way to determining the order for the state playoffs, so it's very important that we play well.
