I was terrible my first year. In 10th grade I was still bad, but the team needed someone that small. I knew that I just needed to stay off my back for the team.

My ninth and 10th-grade years the team didn't make it. And that was my first year going and I had fun up there.

After having a great first year, and a terrible second year, a sketchy start to this year, I was starting to question whether I was going to get a chance again.

This could be year to get it done. This is the first uniformed team in many years. They're competitive and they push each other. We've started the season at a high level and we have a lot of depth.

We needed another outside back that we knew could play first grade. We thought we were one short there.

On paper, I'm sure everyone thinks this year has been terrible. But our seniors meant so much to this team. It's so sad to see them go. We just need to keep building.
