I was thrilled that Matt won the defender of the week award,

It's unfortunate that it happened. Everyone is open to get that done. There's a lot of people who dropped the ball.

Chris also played well Sunday, and had a goal and an assist while playing 45 minutes. He continues to work on his strength, fitness and technical abilities, which will only make him a better player throughout his career.

What a weekend, five goals and an assist,

Matt is a winner, a vocal leader and a great leader by example. He also typifies what Union's student-athletes are all about. He is a Union Scholar, a captain and starter for our team, and also a standout swimmer for Coach Scott Felix.

The goal vs. Vassar was an uncommon header, but a well timed run off of Chris Poey's service into the box. Casey is a tremendous talent who seems to be enjoying the tight knit friendships we have on our team.
