I was very keen on playing a victim,

often attracted to people with conflicts or flawed people because they're more interesting. There's something very attractive about playing an ordinary guy trying to cope with extraordinary things. He's a flawed human being struggling.

It has been a long 41/2 months, so far, since I last played, so I'm very keen to get back into the thick of the action. I have trained for quite a while now and it is nice to have been out with the players on the pitch training all week. Now I'm looking forward to getting on to a proper pitch.

For me really good acting is about subtext.
