I was very sad to see him go, but I was also very glad. I was prepared to do whatever I had to do to nurse him back to health.

People who have lost their pets come to the circle with a picture of their pet and we talk about them, and grieve over them. I believe that it helps.

It helped me a lot. Pets are a part of your family and when you lose them, it's losing a part of your family.
