I won't tell you where the scream came from, but I'll just tell you it came from the process (of rehearsing and experimenting). We've been working in a studio in the basement we call the dungeon. But it's been a very good place to work. We got the bad vibes out.

If you are in movement your movement has direction . . . and an opposite direction. If you direct something (such as an arm or leg), you have to counter-direct something else. If something is moving up, something is moving down. It's a simple idea but it becomes very complex once you begin to practice.

The more the years go by, the less I know. But if you give explanations and understand everything, then nothing can happen. What helps me go forward is that I stay receptive, I feel that anything can happen.

It's so much better to desire than to have... The moment of desire, when you know something is going to happen - that's the most exalting.
