I work best when people are here to puncture me.

Some people come in and really freak. There's movement everywhere, even a dancing housekeeper!

Particularly with live TV, I have a really good time reacting in the moment to things that are going on around me. I try to think of the viewers' perspective too.

Very often out of adversity that's when the best work comes.

I tried to steer the student newspaper toward more pertinent information instead of the usual gossip and bull.
