I would like to thank everyone for coming out today for my official announcement on running for Staunton City Council.

We are known all over the world for our downtown, but we should also be known for our corridors.

The citizens of Staunton know what is best, and I trust their judgment. If the citizens say it is an issue for them, then it has to be an issue for me.

I know I wouldn't want to be a running back [today].

We hit a lot of balls hard today. It was nice to see. I think if our base running would have been a little bit better, we could've opened that thing up even a little bit more.

We were very solid in the infield today and A.J. Grant made several great running catches in the gaps filling in for a kid who was out of school today sick.
