I would welcome more flexibility from Tehran in connection with the well-known Russian proposal on joint uranium enrichment, and not place bets on the demonstration of some new types of weapons.

(Tehran) is now using the tactic of dragging out talks as long as possible. I do not think we can expect Iran to clarify its position any time soon. I would rather suggest that this will not happen before March 6.

This decision seems to be counterproductive.

There are no grounds for anyone, including Russia, to defend Iran's position. We should discuss an appropriate plan of coordinated action for the international community.

The Russian-Iranian basic agreement to establish a joint venture on uranium enrichment on Russian territory is a positive but not final step in the solution to Iran's nuclear program. This agreement is just part of the solution to the problem, which Russia is trying to find. Russia is moving in the right direction.

Unfortunately, Iran so far has not shown sufficient good will.
