I wrestled really well and I feel great because this is my first sectional title. I have a lot of confidence going into district.

We were very close to winning a sectional title. If we would have had (Danny Moore), we probably would have been able to pull it off.

The other three wrestled good, tough matches and got through the first round. That is so critical. Now we have the butterflies out of our system and the win under our belt. Now we open up the doors tomorrow (Thursday) and see what happens.

We feel good about being in first place, and we're looking for a region title.

It was awkward at first because I didn't know what to do. When I first wrestled all I wrestled was boys. It didn't make me uncomfortable at all, but guys don't want to wrestle girls.

We dominated the first half but Kelso did not stop battling and the destination of this season's title could go down to goal difference.
