I love the novels of Didion and Bret Ellis and consider them L.A. writers because they write about L.A.

I love to write.

I write many essays on whales. I love whales, especially orcas. And dolphins.

I write to understand my circumstances, to sort out the confusion of reality, to exorcise my demons. But most of all, I write because I love it!

I love oddballs and nerdiness, and it's a fun world to write in.
