I'm an incurable optimist and a go-getter - it's in my nature to focus much more on what makes me happy than what makes me nervous.

It's been a challenging few years, being the age I am, with so much focus now on how I look. Almost to the point where I felt like, well, they don't know what to do with me. I am flawed. And I'm not 20. Not 30. But I'm certainly different from what most people feel someone in her 40s should be.

The scalpel won't make you happy.

Being referred to as a hunk or a heartthrob makes me nervous, but it's flattering. But I'm more interested in being an actor than a heartthrob.

I learned that you go through things, you deal with them and that's what empowers you and ultimately makes you a happy person.

For the moment I prefer to be a beautiful woman of my age than try desperately to look 30.
