I'm not super social, don't really go to parties, or basketball games, or football games very often, the big social occasions.

Where else could you do that much basketball? The great football rivalries plus we also did some south county games, Crown Point, Merrillville and also Valparaiso.

Something always happens that you don't expect in these games, ... They're exciting, they're good to have and they're what football is all about. You always get excited for these games, and this year is no different.

Are we where we need to be to win football games? I don't think so. But I think we're going in the right direction and think that's what spring is all about.

I really don't notice it that much. Football games are awesome, but when I'm on the mound I have to concentrate on the batter. I try to use that in football, too.
