An award doesn't necessarily make you a better actor.

It does make you a better director and a better actor.

I think with every part you do, you become a better actor. I've learned from my experiences on that.

Creative people are very insecure people because they don't know whether people like them or are in awe of them. That insecurity always comes out. It makes them a better actor, I feel.

Maybe I'm a better actor when I know there's going to be an older woman involved.
