I wouldn't like to see a chick of mine taking her clothes off and kissing a fellow on screen. And my girls must get very hurt when they see me doing it.

I have no inhibitions about smoking or drinking, but I think too much of my voice to place it in jeopardy. I have spent many good years in training and cultivating it, and I would be foolish to do anything which might impair or ruin it.

There's this idea that if you take your clothes off, somehow you must have loose morals.

To say something nice about yourself, this is the hardest thing in the world for people to do. They'd rather take their clothes off.
