I've never wanted to be famous. That has never been a part of any dream. I do remember being little and thinking I might want to be a singer. But not a famous singer - just, like, a singer.

I only wanted to be a songwriter. I never wanted to be a singer. And I never wanted to be famous.

I have no deep-seated desire to be famous; that's not what's driving me, so if it's something I don't want to do, I don't do it. Maybe it's stubborn, but any choices, if you don't like them, yell at me, because it for sure was my bad.

I've never wanted just part of the package, part of the prize. I want it all!

But I have never wanted to be a singer, because the exterior part of a career, I don't like very much.

For me, it's never been about being famous. I just want to be a successful singer. I wanna work hard... If I'm in the papers, grace, but I want to be there for the right reasons - for my music.
