I'd been where they were at one point in time, and knew how important it was for them to learn even just the basic offense. It's gonna be a slow pace, but they're coming along just fine.

It was kind of a frustrating time, not knowing if [we] were going to be left out or not. I wanted to move. If Miami was going to move to the ACC, I knew it was going to be tougher conference and I wanted a chance to be a part of it my final year.

He seems to be real comfortable with the system. He seems like he's been doing it longer than two years. He seems like he's made strides.

We all found out together, and it was a shock to the whole team. But we had no choice but to move on and stay focused on the goal at hand.
