I'd like to bring home a gold medal. It's going to be a fun meet. There are going to be a lot of fun races.

I'm just sorry I couldn't come home with a second Olympic gold medal.

I'm proud of what all of [the other Greensburg Central Catholic swimmers] did. Everybody had at least one lifetime-best time.

There's a lot of competition between us. Being siblings and being on the same team, we get pretty competitive, especially since we swim the same stroke [butterfly]. But we do push each other to do better and work hard at practice.

It was a good day. A good experience.

I was very pleased. I wasn't really expecting anything when I went in. I was just hoping for the best. I was very happy I did what I did.
