I'd like to have Billy back. He was throwing 100 [mph] in the last game. How many guys do that? But he's going to have to do what's best for him and his family. Hopefully, it's here. If not, I'll be facing him somewhere.

There's no need to run around crazy. It's like pitchers. The first couple of weeks they're throwing all fastballs or working on stuff, then eventually they put it all together. So far I've been watching pitchers, trying to get the timing down.

The guy still knows how to pitch. He's not throwing 96 (mph) like used to, but he's sinking it, he's cutting it, he's changing speeds on us.

Early, he was topping out about 84 (mph), throwing BP fastballs. Obviously you can't keep pitching down in the zone at 85, so he elevated a few balls and we were unable to square them up.

You're not going to get better throwing against guys who aren't as good as you. You might as well throw against guys 100 times better.

I wasn't throwing them out there. The guys want to win. When you don't win, some guys throw things. That's fine. You call it frustration, other people say you want to see a little fire. You saw a little fire coming out of the dugout when the game was over.
