I'd like to have students graduating from high school with a sense of what they want to do in post-secondary education. We need to think about at our level what majors and minors we want to provide (if the bill passes).

The key is we cannot impede the development of the school.

We'd rather put the money into the school for the children than into some portables.

The big thing is, now school gets out so early that you have a lot of downtime. We have to find little ways to keep them occupied.

They have all the ingredients for a successful school - good teachers who are highly qualified, total community support, and students who want to learn.

We felt that we needed to formalize the process for naming schools. The community has an opportunity to be involved. I personally think it has worked extremely well. . . . I hope that future boards will continue to use the same format.
