I'd like to make a toast to St. Andrews.

I've asked Rick Nichols at Nike to see what I can do to bridge the gap, to maybe put a 5-wood or 7-wood in the bag. But I have a problem with having to be able to flight the golf ball with those clubs.

You have the top-end players playing, which is great. It's nice to have a field like this to compete in. We always enjoy it, going against the best, and it's going to be a lot of fun.

The driver is fine. It's the dude holding it.

As golfers, we rationalize everything. You hit a bad shot and think, 'I can make birdie from there.' That's how you're supposed to think. You should always try and look at the glass as half full. But any time your parents aren't doing well and their health isn't where it could be and you think it should be, it's always tough. Everyone has to deal with that at some point in time in their life and unfortunately, right now it's our time.

I think that in itself, if you're a true golfer, you'll see specific things you need to work on. Much cheaper than private lessons.
