I'd like to see more culture in general happening ... Because there's not much out here in the way of cultural venues.

The local area around where Carl lives in Eden Prairie actually is quite lovely. And he has very nice ways of finding little hidden corners and capturing something very pleasant. His compositions have a lot of stillness to them.

With the new building we have a much, much bigger, more prominent exhibition space. And even though the space is kind of multipurpose, it's definitely dedicated to showing the work of Minnesota artists. We're not actively restricting it to Minnesota, but that's really kind of our priority.
