I'd like to think our guys have a sour taste in their mouth. Both teams will be familiar with one another. Whoever makes the adjustments from game one to game two will win. But I'd like to see our team have the fire in their eyes.

Last week left a sour taste in our mouth, ... (Defensive coordinator Ron) Rivera told us to be one play better than we were last week. If 11 guys are one play better, that's 11 better plays. That was our goal this week, to come out and dominate. We did that.

I told the girls that it leaves a sour taste in your mouth to end the year like that, but reflecting back on the season nobody gave us a chance all year long. I told them they're part of history at Karns City. They've got something to be proud of. The seniors left their mark on our program. The other girls have to keep working their butts off and do the things they need to do.

We could be playing anybody the first game. We'd still have a sour taste in our mouths.

It'll be two wounded teams playing. Anytime you go a long time without losing, you don't want to say you lose that hunger, but you can't take it for granted. This should refocus them and have that bitter taste of losing fresh in their minds.

There are a lot of familiar teams.
