Ideally we'd like to still have Kenny in the organization. He had a good season last year. Other pitchers are ahead of him at this point. We needed to create a roster spot.

I think injuries played some part in our club not performing as well [during the season]. We never had our club together very long. Unfortunately, the little bit of time we did have them, we didn't play very well during that time period.

I would think the pheasant season will be half as good as it was last year, because there are going to be half as many birds out there. You're not just going to be able to walk out on the Game Lands and expect to shoot a bird.

Talks are going amicably. Assuming the deal is right for Kenny he will be a Celtic player next season.

Pitchers want to play for him (Reed). He's got a lot of experience and he's done a good job with the staff.

I would like to have a good season this year. But more than that, I want to compete in the state tournament.
