If Blake (was) not a soccer player, he'd fit in on the football team as a wide receiver or defensive back because he's that athletic and, quite honestly, that tough.

He's the linchpin in the makeup of this team. I don't think I've had a better defensive player, with the exception of A.J. Gonzalez.

We're not going to be that team that's a defensive stopper,

When you can take a wide receiver and make him a nickel back, ... when you can take rookies and make them starters, when you can take free agents off the streets and win a world championship, that means the philosophy and the scheme is bigger than the players.

That's a warrior, the kind of player you want on your team.
