If I have a 10-month-old baby and he's just gone through his second surgery, it's 3 a.m. and he's having trouble feeding, who can I call? A Pathfinder, of course!

As I was getting ready, the 2-month-old baby was screaming for a bottle and the 8 year old was screaming to go out,

He could have put off surgery a month or two, but I think he put that carrot out there for himself, ... We went to him and told him he was going to be put on the postseason roster. I think he was kind of concerned. He didn't assume anything. It just shows you what kind of guy he is, that just because he went through all of this, he wasn't assuming his spot was solid.

Surgery is always second best. If you can do something else, it's better.

Things went very well in the surgery and he's in Georgia with (wife) Jennifer and the baby and things are well. He will address the press when he gets back.

I'm not having surgery. I'm too old to go under the knife. I'd retire before I do that.
