If in this life only we hope we face only a hopeless end.

To those who don't know Christ, life on earth is all there is, and so it is normal for them to strive for this world's values: money, power, pleasure, and prestige. For Christians, however, to live means to develop eternal values and to tell others about Christ, who alone could help them see life from an eternal perspective. Our ultimate purpose in life should be to speak out boldly for Christ and to become more like Him. If we're not ready to die for Christ, then we're really not ready to live.

God is the Everlasting Counselor.

We never have to be uncertain when we have the God of truth and righteousness.

Are you a person with strong beliefs? The strength of what we believe is measured by how much we are willing to suffer for those beliefs. "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain ... For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake." (Philippians 1:21, 29)
