If it was part of a district race, it would be that much more important. But as far as a rivalry goes, that doesn't take away from it. This rivalry is known statewide, and it's great to be a part of it.

He's been great at both places; it's an honor to have the opportunity to follow him. It's going to be neat that he'll be there watching.

Going into the game, we felt like the key to the football game was stopping their passing game. They didn't do anything that was unexpected. We just did a very, very, poor, poor job of pass defense. Offensively, we got off to a slow start. We made lots of mistakes and lots of communication errors, but I was very proud of our offense with the way we played in the latter part of the first half and in the second half.

We're not going to discriminate against anyone, whether it be religion, race, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

There are more seats filled today than there were on Sunday of last year?s fall race. This is fun day.
