If Lafayette Parish wants to attract new businesses and have jobs, it needs to address the facility needs.

Children are in line to go to the bathroom outside the butler (portable) buildings.

I think if they are going to borrow money, it should be for something substantial. What I think they should do is leave the existing facility in place and start (building) a new school on the property. They are throwing money away. They are putting Band-Aids on the problem.

There is mold in the classroom. The heating and AC units leak. I have seen teachers have to move students out of the way because the AC unit is leaking on one side of the class. I saw a teacher move a row of kids over because water was leaking on one side of the room.

The cash market is tight, but it's not enough for farmers to get up off their tractor and (sell). Plus outside markets were higher, too.
