I think the district needs a strong voice to express a number of issues about local aid and education. Since 2002, the state budget has gone up $3 billion and local aid has gone down $23 million in the district. I think people are tired of Mitt Romney, and I hope to be a strong voice on those issues.

The definition needs to be one that makes sense to the public and to the business of education.
