If Romney explains why where we are with Obama is unacceptable, why whither we are tending is even worse - and why his own alternative path forward is superior - then we trust the American people to make the right choice in November.

This retention wasn't about making a 'politically correct' or 'politically acceptable' choice. It was about getting the right person for the job. Firm affiliation is irrelevant to finding the right person.

President Obama made the right choice, over one million Americans are still working today. The American auto industry is not just surviving. It is thriving. Where Mitt Romney was willing to turn his back on Akron, Dayton and Toledo, Ohio, the president said, 'I've got your back.'

When people divorce, it's always such a tragedy. At the same time, if people stay together it can be even worse.

This is a moment of choice for everybody, for politicians and for people right the way down through every part of the community.
