If Schroeder is blocking her chancellorship -- as he appears to be -- then it's not looking good for Frau Merkel.

It was the final straw for a lot of voters.

Merkel has been very seriously weakened because she is being blamed for the election result. Germany clearly didn't want a new government led by Merkel.

Schroeder threw a really good game and you have to give her credit. She comes out and competes every game and you can't afford to not come out mentally and physically prepared to play your best game.

From what I see, it's not looking too good. I feel like I'm in limbo. But I'll just come in every day ready to play, with a lot of hope of being in the lineup.

Not a good-looking two-year auction.
