If someone writes in and wants a picture of their grandchild taken with the governor, it happens. All the governors I have worked with have enjoyed signing photos for people. They make time for photos.

It sucks. I used to be governor of New York.

There's no other governor who's done that. There's governors who came and left, but he came and stayed. The miners I've talked to praise him for that.... He's the best governor we've ever had.

It's the grandchild we haven't had yet.

What happens if the governor is incapacitated? Isn't it easier if you don't have to ask the governor to sign an executive order every time you need one?

That's not the case, and everyone knows that. This governor has had good relations with Mexican governors. He hopes to meet with President (Vicente) Fox himself at some point in the future when their schedules are convenient. But there's nothing to mend here.
