If sports are supposed to be good for you, how come athletes are over the hill at 31?

Sports is a metaphor for overcoming obstacles and achieving against great odds, ... Athletes, in times of this kind of difficulty, can be important role models.

Title IX has definitely provided more opportunities for female athletes. It is definitely a positive thing for women's sports, both in what it offers women and in its funding. I don't feel that the survey is an accurate way to gauge interest, especially when people who don't respond get counted as people who aren't interested in a particular sport.
