If there's any kind of wrongdoing, it should be reported immediately to authorities and it should be dealt with promptly. That certainly is what we look for as we have come through a learning process that has been constructive and painful.

I think that anytime wrongdoing occurs, it's important that that wrongdoing be reported. And I think that's appropriate. Now, who one reports that to -- the authorities -- is one thing or somebody else is another. But I'm not knowledgeable enough to be in a position to judge it,

There's no excuse for it all and they should be dealt with immediately.

Those are things that can be dealt with.

There is no room for partisan grandstanding on this matter, ... If wrongdoing is confirmed it ought to be dealt with in the appropriate way laid out by the rules of the House.

The skipper is reported to be greatly distressed. He called the coast guard immediately after it happened. A lot of people here are pretty shocked and saddened.
